What is happening?
PROVISION OF PUFFIN CROSSING ON A620 HOSPITAL ROAD, RETFORD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to install a signalised puffin crossing on A620 Hospital Road, Retford in the Bassetlaw District.
1. The proposals will incorporate a controlled area, indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled areas are: -
A620 Hospital Road, Retford (both sides)
• From a point 128 metres south-west of the centre line of Rectory Road in a south-westerly direction for 47 metres. Written comments or objections you have may be shared either by letter or email to tmconsultation@viaem.co.uk (stating grounds and quoting ref: Hospital Road) and must be received by the 6th August 2026.
