What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(Brigg Monument, Approach Roads)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make Orders in respect of the following Roads and Streets in Brigg, which are not already the subject of a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order.

The effect of the proposed and existing Orders will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Bigby Rd, Wrawby Rd, Bigby St and Barnard Ave at the approach to the Monument from 8.30am 27th July-4.30pm 28th Aug 2026 (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances) for cycle infrastructure, pedestrian crossing installation, carriageway resurfacing by NLC.

The diversion for each closure is A18, A1173, A1084 and reverse.
