THE DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (CULLOMPTON TOWN CENTRE RELIEF ROAD) (SIDE ROADS) ORDER 2025
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that on 19 June 2026 she has confirmed the above Order which was made by Devon County Couucil uuder section 14 of the Highways Act 1980 and which, as confirmed, authorises the Council to -
(a) construct highways;
(b) stop up private means of access;
(c) provide new means of access; and
(d) improve highways;
all on or in the vicinity of the route of the classified road being the B3181 Station Road to be improved between Longbridge Meadow and Whitton Way.
A copy of the Order and the relevant plan have been deposited, and may be inspected free of charge at: Devon County Council, Main Reception, County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter, EX2 4QD
Mid Devon District Couucil, Phoenix House, Phoenix Ln, Tiverton EX16 6PP
In addition, a copy of the Order and its relevant plan has been made available online on the Council's website at: https://www.devon.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/trafficinformation/ transport-planning/
Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of any provision within the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 07 July 2026, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
