ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
DRURY
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 3 July 2026 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding on Beech Road, between its junctions with Drury Lane and Newton Drive, Drury in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the restriction is to facilitate Gas mains replacement with associated works by Wales and West Utilities.
Alternative routes will be signed accordingly with the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of the restriction.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on the 20 July 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will be closed for approximately 6 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

HOLYWELL
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 3 July 2026 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding on B5432 Halkyn Street and Halkyn Road (including its junction with Crossroads), between its junctions with A5026 Victoria Place and A5026 Pinfold Park Road Holywell, in the county of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate sewer reinforcement works with associated works by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water Capital Works.
Alternative routes will be signed accordingly with the use of prescribed signs.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on the 20 July 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. The closure is expected to last for approximately 11 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.
