Multiple Roads, Sparsholt, Winchester - Temporary Road Closure due to pole testing
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Dean Lane between its junction with Lanham Lane and its junction with Lupin Gardens. Lanham Lane between its junction with Dean Lane and its junction with Teg Down Meads. Salters Lane between its junction with Dean Lane and its junction with Holly Meadows.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lanham Lane, Teg Down Meads, Stockbridge Road, Woodman Lane, Dean Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Thursday 23rd July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to complete pole testing. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk.
