RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Y Pîl wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, yn bwriadu creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno, dros dro, y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol gan nad yw’r lôn gerbydau yn ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau wrth ailosod wyneb y briffordd ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 15/07/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn hwy na 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 21:00 a 07:00 o 28/07/2026 i 29/07/2026.
Atodlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd Cylchfan y Pîl yr A48 i Gylchfan Redhill (tua'r dwyrain YN UNIG) am oddeutu 4.1 km.
Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw ar hyd Cylchfan A4229 y Pîl i Gylchfan yr M4 Cyff 37, Cylchfan A4229 YR M4 i Ffordd Osgoi De Corneli, Cylchfan A4229 y Drenewydd yn Notais i Ffordd Osgoi De Corneli, Cylchfan yr A4106 y Drenewydd yn Notais, A4106 Newton Nottage Road, A4106 Bridgend Road, Porthcawl, Cylchfan A48 Redhill.
Bydd mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu a’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans wrth ymateb i argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau.
Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(A48 PYLE ROUNDABOUT TO REDHILL) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Pyle in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is necessary due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during carriageway resurfacing works and is in the interest of public safety.
The Order will come into force on 15/07/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 21:00 and 07:00 from 28/07/2026 to 29/07/2026.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along A48 Pyle Roundabout to Redhill Roundabout (East Bound ONLY) for approximately 4.1 km.
The alternative route for vehicles is via A4229 Pyle Roundabout to M4 Jct 37 Roundabout, A4229 M4 Roundabout to South Cornelly Bypass, A4229 Newton Nottage Roundabout to South Cornelly By Pass, A4106 Newton Nottage Roundabout, A4106 Newton Nottage Road, A4106 Bridgend Road, Porthcawl, A48 Redhill Roundabout.
Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
