THE BRIGHTON & HOVE (5:30 BRIGHTON RUN) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026

The 5:30 Brighton Run is taking place in Brighton, therefore, to facilitate this event, the route will need to be closed to traffic and therefore Brighton & Hove City have made an Order under Section 16A to C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, which temporarily brings into force the following traffic regulations:

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle that is not participating in, or connected with the 5:30 Brighton Run to proceed in, exit from, or turn into any of the lengths of road specified below, except upon the direction or with the permission of a Police Constable in uniform or that of a uniformed marshal:

Temporary Road Closures – Friday, 10th July 2026:

New Road – from 04:30 to 07:30

North Street (East Street to Ship Street) – from 05:25 to 05:40

Ship Street – from 05:25 to 05:45

Prince Albert Street – from 05:25 to 05:45

Bartholomews – from 05:25 to 05:45

East Street – south end of taxi rank to A259 – from 05:25 to 06:30
