TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – DEAN STREET, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 1 July 2026 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of Dean Street from outside No. 38 southwards for approximately 15 metres.
(b) To maintain access during this closure it will be necessary to suspend the One-Way Traffic Order on Dean Street from the junction of Upper North Street southwards for approximately 84 metres.
2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry out a new gas connection.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.
3. This Order comes into force on 6 July 2026 for eighteen months or until such oner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 14 July 2026.
