RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(PENYGRAIG ROAD, PENYGRAIG)
(TEMPORARY ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate works to renew a leaking communication pipe.
Temporary One-Way Traffic:
Penygraig Road, in a north-easterly direction only, from the common boundary of No 103 and 104 Penygraig Road, to the south-western arm of its junction with the Penygraig Roundabout, a distance of 28 metres.
Alternative Route – available via Dinas Road (B4278), A4058, Ynyscrug Roundabout, A4119, Clydach Vale Roundabout, A4119, Brook Street and Penygraig Road.
Access will be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians and to premises.
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Daytime restrictions between 8am – 4pm on 19th July 2026
