Stablefold, Worsley and Westwood Park - Prohibition of Waiting and Amendment
What is happening?
Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (STABLEFOLD, WORSLEY AND WESTWOOD PARK)(PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: Stablefold, (i) north-west and north-east side, from the north easterly extended kerbline of Barton Road, in a northeasterly, easterly then south-easterly direction, to a point 9.2m south of the southerly extended kerbline of Chandlers Row, (ii) south-east side, from the north-easterly extended kerbline of Barton Road, for a distance of 32.2m in a northeasterly direction.
Existing Orders shall be amended to accommodate the proposal. A copy of the proposed Order, the Orders it is proposed to amend, a Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
