NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U71616 Twyford Common Road- Twyford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71616-Twyford Common Road- Twyford, Twyford Common Road. Grid Ref: 351092/235395.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Aconbury Lane onto Bogmarsh Lane onto the C1261 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 23rd of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
