ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Barnett Lane, Kingswinford) (2) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Barnett Lane, Kingswinford, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 20.07.2026 and will remain in force until 03.08.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Lawnswood Road, Cot Lane, Broad Street, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction) (Stourbridge Road, Halesowen) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in an eastbound direction on Stourbridge Road, Halesowen, for the purpose of installation of HV electrical ducting being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 20.07.2026 and will remain in force until 27.07.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Richmond Street, Church Croft, Queensway, Bromsgrove Road, Bromsgrove Street, Whitehall Road, and New Road.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One Way Restriction) (Red Hill, Oldswinford) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a southbound direction on Red Hill, Oldswinford, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 20/07/2026 and will remain in force until 10/08/2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Southbound traffic will be diverted via: Cranbourne Road, Hagley Road, and Glasshouse Hill.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
