HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn Bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1.     Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 15fed Gorffennaf 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 15fed Gorffennaf 2026 a’r 16eg Gorffennaf 2026, gan weithio rhwng 08:00 – 17:00. Sylwch y bydd y ffyrdd ar gau ar ddyddiadau gwahanol ac na fyddant ar gau ar yr un pryd - manylion isod.  

2.     Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith yn gosod polion mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.  Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.   mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.  Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.    

3.     Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd:      
15/07/2026 rhwng 08:00-17:00
I. Cau rhan o Heol Danygraig, Bont, Sir Fynwy dros dro, ~280m o’r gyffordd â Heol Tŷ Mawr am ~460m. Bydd llwybr dargyfeiriol wedi'i arwyddo ar waith fel a ganlyn:- Heol Tŷ Mawr, Heol Cefn Llaithan, Heol New Line, Heol New Inn ac i'r gwrthwyneb  

16/07/2026 rhwng 08:00-17:00
I. Cau rhan o Heol Heol Tŷ, Bont, Sir Fynwy, dros dro, o'r gyffordd â Heol Danygraig am ~0.50km
Bydd llwybr dargyfeiriol wedi'i arwyddo ar waith fel a ganlyn:- Heol Danygraig, Heol New Inn, Heol New Line, Heol Cefn Llaithan ac i'r gwrthwyneb  

4.     Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio ar waith ar gyfer pob cau ffordd; gellir dod o hyd i fanylion y llwybr uchod ym mhwynt 3 o'r hysbysiad hwn.ac i'r gwrthwyneb.  

5.     Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Danygraig a Heol Tŷ Mawr, Bont, Sir Fynwy 2026.  

6.     Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE
SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(DANYGRAIG ROAD AND GREAT HOUSE ROAD, BONT, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1.     The Order shall come into operation on the 15th July 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 15th July 2026 and 16th July 2026, operating between 08:00 – 17:00. Please note that closures will be implemented on separate dates and will not be closed simultaneously, details below.  

2.     The order is necessary for Poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3.     The effect of the order will be:

I.      To temporarily close a section of Danygraig Road , Bont, Monmouthshire, ~280m from its junction with Great House Road for ~460m.
A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- Great House Road, Cefn Llaithan Road, New Line Road, New Inn Road and vice versa  
16/07/2026 operating between 08:00-17:00
II.     To temporarily close a section of Great House Road, Bont, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Danygraig Road for ~0.50km
A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- Danygraig Road, New Inn Road, New Line Road, Cefn Llaithan Road and vice versa  

4.     A signed diversionary route will be in place for each road closure; details of the route can be found above in point.3 of this notice.  

5.     This order may be cited as the Danygraig Road and Great House Road, Bont, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026  

6.     By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
