Kington - Temporary 40mph Speed Restriction Due To Utility Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A4111, Kington, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2026, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 40mph on the Following road(s): A4111 Kington, between approx. 600mtrs north of the junction with Woodbrook Road and approx 100 mtrs south of its junction with Woodbrook Road, grid ref: 330180/254756 and 330357/255432 and Woodbrook Road approx. 30mtrs from the junction with the A4111 as indicated by signs and cones.
The said restriction is required due to utility works on or near said roads and the likelihood of danger to the public while works are being carried out. The said restriction will be in place for approximately 2 days and will come into force on 28th July 2026. However, the restriction may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State).
