Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 91, Thaxted in the District of Uttlesford from its junction with Bolford Street north for approximately 20 metres.
Diversion will be around the compound area.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 06 July 2026 to 17 July 2026 where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public, while the installation of the compound takes place, which is needed to complete the strengthening works at Borough Bridge.
The Order will come into effect on 06 July 2026 may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chrishall Grange Road, Chrishall in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 340m north east then north west of its junction with Crawley End Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC4110101WGNKDH5V – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Chrishall Grange Road, Hertford Lane, Mill Causeway, Heydon Lane, Fowlmere Road, Heydon Road, Newmarket Road, Chrishall Road, Chrishall Grange Road and vice versa.

- To temporarily close that length of Littlebury Green Road, Elmdon in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 340m north east of its junction with Royston Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction.
- To temporarily close that length of Littlebury Green Road, Littlebury in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 1110m north east, south east then north east of its junction with Roydon Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 27th July 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on valid permit (BC411001WGMV674T & BC411001WGMV5W7X – Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Uttlesford, as detailed in the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 9th July 2026, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.Network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
