Gloucestershire - Multiple Temporary Road Closures due to Highway and Utility Works

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF B4632 BROADWAY ROAD

(MICKLETON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close the length of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the said closures is for ground investigation and repair works.

The said road is expected to be closed on the dates as stated in the said above Schedule.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C131 ROAD FROM ADLESTROP ROAD TO EVENLODE ROAD (EVENLODE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C131 Road from Adlestrop Road to Evenlode Road from outside of the property known as ‘Evenlode Manor’ to the Road from Evenlode Road to County Boundary for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The reason for the said closure is for the installation of a pressure reducing valve.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 6th July 2026 until 20th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the said closures is for a water pipe replacement scheme.

All of the above said roads may be subject to a full 24hr a day closure. However, notwithstanding the above, the said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme, commencing 7th July 2026, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. The Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 4th January 2027.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C127 ROAD FROM TODENHAM ROAD TO A4300

(TODENHAM PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C127 Road from Todenham Road to A4300 from outside of the property known as ‘No. 45’ to outside of the property known as ‘Desmond House’ for a distance of approximately 39 metres. The reason for the said closure is for works by Thames Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 18th July 2026 until 19th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 400531 CHAPEL LANE

(BLOCKLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400531 Chapel Lane from its junction with Bell Bank to outside of the property known as ‘The Willows’ for a distance of approximately 43 metres. The reason for the closure is for the renewal of an inspection cover.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 on 23rd July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
