Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure Due To Ducting & High Voltage Power Cable Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: B4348 From Cross Lodge To Poston Mill Park, Temporary Road Closure Order 2026, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the 'B4348 From Cross Lodge To Poston Mill Park', between the junction with Closure Place to Little Brook. Grid Ref: 334665/238392 to 334895/238132.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4348 onto the B4349 onto the B4352 onto the B4348 and vice versa.

The said Oder is required due to ducting and HV power cable works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said Order will come into force on 20th of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the closure is expected to be in place for 8 days approximately.
