Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Apton Hall Road, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Hyde Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 275m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th July 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2403361B – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Brays Lane, Ashingdon Road, West Street, Bradley Way, South Street, North Street, Weir Pond Road, Stambridge Road, Apton Hall Road (Westbound) or Apton Hall Road, Stambridge Road, East Street, South Street, Bradley Way, West Street, Ashingdon Road and Brays Lane (Eastbound).

(High Street, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)

& Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

    1. To temporarily close that length of High Street, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Castle Road for a distance approximately 40m in a north easterly direction.

  1. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closures only.

“The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping At Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restriction on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 27th July 2026 for 20 nights (20:00-05:00) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404395 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pedestrian crossing upgrade works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via High Street, Eastwood Road, Rayleigh Road, A127, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, High Road, High Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 9th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Brackendale Avenue to its junction with Station Approach, a distance of approximately 45m. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Laindon/Little Burstead in the Borough of Basildon, from the junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 650m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th July 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGTCF43SETHSB/BC008WGTCF43S01ETHSB – Openreach Ltd). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tye Common Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with Wiggins Lane for a distance of approximately 350m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2026 for 20 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30060162522 – UK Power Networks). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.7) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

    1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule.

  1. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 25th June 2026 exact dates will be specified on One.Network. Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
