NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Loose Lane in Sompting, from its junction with West Street to its junction with White Styles Road. The road closure is needed to allow footway improvement works to be carried out in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 7 August 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to install a new puffin crossing on Arundel Road in Angmering at the pedestrian entrance to St Margarets C of E Primary School.
NOTICE is also hereby given that WSCC proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to remove the current School Keep Clear markings on both sides of Arundel Road in Angmering so they may be replaced by the white zig-zag markings of the new crossing described above.
Full details of the proposals in this notice can be viewed on the Traffic Regulation Order page of the WSCC website. The website includes a response form for any comments or objections. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
Any comments or objections about the proposal must be received before 23 July 2026. These may be submitted via the response form on the website mentioned above, by e-mail to tro.consultation@westsussex.gov.uk or in writing to TRO Team, WSCC, The Grange, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1RH.
