(Temporary Closing Of The Layby Situated On The North East Side Of A505 Royston Bypass, Royston) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the layby situated on the north east side of A505 Royston Bypass, Royston from a point 789m north east of its junction with A1198 Old North Road north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 213m ("the Layby").
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because railway works are proposed to be executed on or near the Layby.
The Order will come into effect from 20 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 2 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Layby.

(Temporary Closing Of C11 (Unnamed Road), Anstey) Order No.2 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C11 (unnamed road), Anstey from its junction with Anstey Public Footpath No.005 north eastwards to its junction with Raymounts Lane, a distance of approximately 123m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via: Barkway Road, C11 (unnamed road) and Raymounts Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing telegraph pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 20 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 2 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bygrave Road/Ashwell Road, Bygrave and Claybush Road/Ashwell Street/Kingsland Way, Ashwell from its junction with A507 North Road north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with High Street, a distance of approximately 7070m ("the length of Roads"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via: A507 (North Road/Great North Road), Newnham Road, Ashwell Road, Newnham Way, West End and High Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 6 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 3 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of West End, Ashwell from its junction with Back Street north eastwards for a distance of approximately 99m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via: West End, Hinxworth Road, Ashwell Road, High Street, Edworth (unnamed road), Millow (unnamed road), Biggleswade Road, High Street, Cambridge Road, High Street, Eyeworth Road, Guilden Morden Road, Potton Road, Dubbs Knoll Green, Pound Green, High Street, Ashwell Road, Station Road, Lucas Lane, High Street and West End.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 6 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 3 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend various existing Orders in the County of Hertfordshire as specified in Schedule 1 and revoke Orders listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

SCHEDULE 2: The Order revokes the following Orders as they are no longer relevant:
- The A10 Trunk Road (Royston, Hertfordshire) (30 miles per hour speed limit) Order 2003
