Order made: to close that part of C2016 Drakelow Ln from its junction with C2015 Sladd Ln to its junction with C2019 Wolverley Village.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2016 Drakelow Ln (part), C2015 Sladd Ln, B4189 Shatterford Ln, B4189 Wolverley Rd, C2019 Wolverley Village, C2016 Drakelow Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Order made: To close that part of C2082 Fox Ln from its junction with U13610 Dobes Ln to its junction with A448 Kidderminster Rd.

Reason: Install Timber Post and Rail fencing at bridge by WCC.

Alternative route: C2082 Cakebole Ln, C2082 Cakebole, C2014 Curslow Ln, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A448 Kidderminster Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of: 1) C2021 Heightington Road from its junction with U10007 Bine Ln to its junction with C2189 Boraston Rd. 2) U10007 Bine Lane from its junction with C2021 Heightington Rd to its junction with U10008 Orchard Cl.

Reason: Footway reconstruction and gulley repair by WCC.

Alternative route: Closure 1 Diversion – C2189 Boraston Rd, C2189 Quarry Rd, C2191 Green Way and vice versa. Closure 2 Diversion – C2021 Heightington Rd (part), C2021 Bliss Gate Rd, U10006 Bliss Gate Rd, U10007 Bine Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.

Commencing: 27 July 2026.

(U40024 Old Worcester Road, Hartlebury)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U40024 Old Worcester Rd from its junction with C2030 Old Worcester Rd for the entire length of the road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: C2030 Old Worcester Rd, U40024 Waresley Court Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 29 July and 12 August 2026.

Order made: To close that part of U11432 Bewdley Rd North Service Rd from its junction with U11433 Francis Rd to its junction with B4195 Bewdley Rd North.

Order made: To close that part of: 1) C2184 Harvington Hall Ln from its junction with A448 Bromsgrove Rd for a distance of 736 metres in a north westerly direction. 2) U13627 Harbash Ln from its junction with C2184 Harvington Hall Ln for a distance of 45 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

Alternative route: A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A450 Worcester Rd, C2184 Park Ln and vice versa.

Order made: To close the whole of A456 Bewdley Road Roundabout including that part of:

1) A456 Park Butts Ringway from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction with U12385 Lower Mill St.

2) A442 Proud Cross Ringway from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction with A4535 Mason Rd Roundabout.

3) A4535 Mason Rd from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction with A4535 Summer Place.

4) U12142 Chapel Rd from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction with U12141 Wood St.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11122 Queens Rd from its junction with U11118 Hermitage Way to its junction with U11114 Hanstone Rd.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U11118 Hermitage Way, U11115 Layamon Walk, U11114 Hanstone Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 28 July 2026 and 31 July 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of 12278 Trimpley Dr from its junction with C2129 Habberley Rd for a distance of 270 metres in a north westerly then north easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by National Grid Electricity.

Alternative route: U12278 Trimpley Dr (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 23 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 30 July 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4193 Hartlebury Rd from its junction with C2172 Wilden Ln to its junction with U11318 Wilden Top Ln.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent.

Alternative route:

Anti-clockwise Diversion: B4193 Stourport Rd, B4193 Rectory Ln, A449 Worcester Rd, A4420 Silverwoods Way, A451 Stourport Rd, A451 Minster Rd, A451 Gilgal, A4025 Worcester Rd, B4193 Hartlebury Rd (part).

Clockwise Diversion: B4193 Hartlebury Rd (part), A4025 Worcester Rd, A451 Mitton St, A451 Vale Rd, A451 Minster Rd, A451 Stourport Rd, A4420 Silverwoods Way, A449 Worcester Rd, B4193 Rectory Ln, B4193 Stourport Rd.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 22 January 2026 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath CC-632, Chaddesley Corbett from its junction with Footpaths CC-629 & CC-631 at grid ref: 390540, 274094 to its junction with Footpaths CC-634 & CC-635 (Royal Hunters Walk) grid ref: 390503, 273951 which was due to expire on 7 July 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 28 September 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to a dangerous bridge.

Alternative route: Footpaths CC-634, CC-628 & CC-629 and vice versa.
