Central Avenue (D6927) West Molesey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting in that length of Central Avenue (D6927) West Molesey as extends from its junction with Walton Road (D369) to its junction with Dunstable Road (N6927).
This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate a new service connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 July 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the waiting restriction, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
D3825 Ambleside Avenue, Walton On Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3825 Ambleside Avenue, Walton On Thames that extends from its junction with D3830 Rydens Road, to the southern side of its junction with D3827 The Furrows. Alternative routes:- 1. The Furrows and Rydens Avenue. 2. Rydens Road, Meadowside and The Furrows. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or connections and/or maintenance works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out in four sections, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, within 3 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures which are anticipated to be required for 24 hours each, day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above and/or by means of road plates.

C157 Fairmile Lane, Cobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C157 Fairmile Lane, Cobham that extends from it’s the southern side of its junction with D6857 Fairacres, to the northern side of its junction with D6857 Green Lane. Alternative route:- Portsmouth Road, Between Streets, High Street, River Hill, Mill Road, Stoke Road and Leigh Hill Road. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or connections and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out in four sections, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within 6 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures which are anticipated to be required for 24 hours each, day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route described above and/or by means of road plates.
D6899 Lower Green Road, Esher Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D6899 Lower Green Road, Esher which extends from its junction with B3379 Ember Lane to tis junction with X5189 Oak Tree Place. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate pavement resurfacing and footway reconstruction works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions and suspension of the Order will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be at all times. Alternative Route 1 – B3379 Station Road, A307 Portsmouth Road, A307 High Street (Esher), A244 Claremont Lane, A244 Church Street, A244 Lammas Lane, D6897 Esher Green, D6897 More Lane and D6899 Lower Green Road; Alternative Route 2 – D6899 Lower Green Road, D6898 More Lane, D6897 Esher Green, A244 Lammas Lane, A3009 Esher Green, A307 High Street, Esher, A307 Portsmouth Road and B3379 Station Road.
