The Brent Electric Vehicle Charging Points (No. 1, 2023) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough of Brent propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
2. The general effect of the ‘Electric Vehicle Charging Points’ Order would be to slightly relocate two electric vehicle charging points in Twyford Abbey Road, the north-west side, located opposite Crystal House, No. 1 Agate Close to enable the construction of a new vehicle access and dropped kerb required to serve an approved development.
3. The charging points referred to in paragraph 2 above would be available for electric vehicles only "at any time", without charge, provided that:-
(a) the vehicle is connected to the charging point via the re-charging lead provided at all times while it is left at the charging point;
(b) the usual exemption relating to vehicles displaying a disabled person’s "Blue Badge" would apply.
4. A copy of the proposed Order, of the relevant Order of 2023 (and of any Orders which have amended that Order), of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a map which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates can be inspected, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at: Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0FJ.

6. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to any of the proposed Order should send a statement of their representations or objections, and the grounds therefor, via email to: trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to: The Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking Service, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference: - TO/27/018/GD, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
