The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, From Bridge Road To Spectrum House, From Grooms Alley to Spectrum House, Bridge Road, Springhill Roundabout, Spring Hill and Vineyard Road, Wellington (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Grooms Alley and Queen Street Wellington (One-Way Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst highway improvement works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 6/7/26 between the hours of 19:00-05:00. The following roads are affected: From Grooms Alley To Spectrum House in its entirety, From Bridge Rd to Spectrum House in its entirety, Bridge Rd from its jcn with Grooms Alley to its jcn with Springhill Rbt, Springhill Rbt in its entirety, Spring Hill from its jcn with Springhill Rbt to its jcn with North Rd, Vineyard Rd from its jcn with Springhill Rbt to its jcn with Vineyard Dr and Grooms Alley from its jcn with Bridge Rd to its jcn with Grooms Alley To Spectrum House, Queen St from its jcn with Charlton St to its jcn with Bridge Rd. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 13/7/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
