Ford Street - Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

FORD STREET / POOL STREET, KEIGHLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Ford Street/Pool Street, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of:

• Pool Street from its junction with Ford Street to the rear of No.261 Bradford Road

• Ford Street from its junction with Pool Street to a point outside No.3 Ford Street

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Pool Street (unaffected section), Dale Street, Bradford Road, Ford Street (unaffected section) and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on the 15?? July 2026 and remain in force until 15:30 on the 15?? July 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
