What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 06/07/2026 the Council made The Angus Council (Scottish Transport Extravaganza at Glamis) (Temporary Traffic Arrangements) Order 2026 under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, for the purpose of public safety or convenience in relation to the holding of the 50th Scottish Transport Extravaganza. The effect of the Order is to (1) temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting and loading on Dundee Road (A928), Glamis Castle (C13) and Main Street, Glamis; and (2) temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on the Kirriemuir to Glamis (A928) and Perth to Forfar (A94) roads. The Order will come into force from 6pm on 10/07/2026 until 5pm on 12/07/2026.
