What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 29 June 2026, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Monikie Triathlon) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) Order 2026, under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, for the purposes referred to in Section 16A(2)(a), (b) & (c) of the Act. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the waiting and loading of vehicles in or on Hillhead Road, Panmure Road and Kirkton Road, Monikie for a period of 22 hours. The maximum duration in terms of the act is 18 months. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.
