Edinburgh: Corbiehill Road Area - Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic regulation

(CORBIEHILL ROAD AREA)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/96

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway widening works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of (i) Corbiehill rd (access rd to davidson’s mains primary school car park) at Corbiehill Rd; (ii) Corbiehill pk at Corbiehill Rd; and (iii) Vivian Ter (south leg) at Corbiehill Rd; and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: (i) Corbiehill rd, north-east side, from 14m south-east of the extended south kerbline of Vivian Ter (north leg), southeastwards to 12m north-west of the extended north kerbline of Vivian Ter (south leg); and south-west side, from 10m south-east of the extended south-east kerbline of Corbiehill Cres, south-eastwards to 29m south-east of the extended south-east kerbline of Corbiehill Pk; (ii) Vivian Ter (north leg), north side, from 21m east of the extended north-east kerbline of Corbiehill Rd, eastwards for 17m; and south side, from 16m east of the extended north-east kerbline of Corbiehill Rd, eastwards for 17m; (iii) Vivian Ter (south leg), north side, from 12m east of the extended north-east kerbline of Corbiehill Rd, eastwards for 20m; and south side, from 18m east of the extended north-east kerbline of Corbiehill Rd, eastwards for 20m. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described. There is no available diversion with respect to the closure of Corbiehill rd (access rd to davidson’s mains primary school car park) & Corbiehill pk, where local access will not be maintained. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the closure of Vivian Ter (south leg) will be by way of Vivian Ter (north leg). The Order shall have effect from 08/07/26 to 14/08/26.
