THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION )
ORDER 2026 - TEMP/26/109

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate sewer connection works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of: Phase 1 (i) Fernieside gdns, from the extended north-east kerbline of Fernieside Pl, north-eastwards for 30m; & Phase 2 (ii) Fernieside Pl, from extended north-west kerbline of Fernieside Gdns, northwestwards for 45m; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: (i) Fernieside gdns, from the extended north-east kerbline of Fernieside Pl, north-eastwards for 30m; & (ii) Fernieside Pl, from extended north-west kerbline of Fernieside Gdns, northwestwards for 45m. The road closure for Phase 1 shall not be enacted at the same time as Phase 2. The road closure for Phase 2 shall not be enacted at the same time as Phase 1. The alternatives routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closures of: Phase 1 (i) Fernieside gdns & Phase 2 (ii) Fernieside Pl, is Fernieside Gdns, Moredun Pk Rd & Fernieside Pl. The order shall have effect from 06/07/26 to 23/08/26.
