(EAST STREET, LINDLEY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of East Street, Lindley from its junction with Halifax Road to a point outside property No. 60

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of East Street, Birchencliffe Hill Road, Halifax Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 06:00 hours on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain force until 23:00 hours on 30 August 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ROTCHER LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Rotcher Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction with Blakestones Road to a point outside property No. 3 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Blakestones Road, Holme Lane, Howgate Road, Rotcher Lane and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 21 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SMITHY PLACE LANE, BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Smithy Place Lane, Brockholes from a point approximately 80 metres north of junction with Woodhead Road to a point approximately 150 metres west of New Mill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Smithy Place Lane, New Mill Road, Station Road, Woodhead Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 21 July 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(MOOR SIDE LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Side Lane, Slaithwaite from a point outside property No. 5 to its junction with Tiding Field Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Moor Side Lane, Highfield Road, Mellor Brook, Waller Clough Road, Quebec Road, New Hey Road, Pole Gate.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 20 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(COWCLIFFE HILL ROAD, COWCLIFFE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Cowcliffe:- 

Road Closure
Cowcliffe Hill Road - from its junction with Clough Road to its junction with Sandwich Crescent;

Point Closures
The following lengths of road at their junction with Cowcliffe Hill Road:-

North Cross Road, Netheroyd Hill Road, South Cross Road, Brayside Avenue, York Avenue, Birklands Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Cowcliffe Hill Road, Cambourne Drive, Lightridge Road, Netheroyd Hill Road, Bradford Road, Spaines Road, Halifax Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 27 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BROWNHILL LANE/DOBB TOP ROAD, HOLMBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Brownhill Lane/Dobb Top Road, Holmbridge from the rear of The Smithy on Dobb Top Road to a point outside property No. 33 Brownhill Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 24 July 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CLIFF ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cliff Road from a point outside property No. 36a to its junction with Wooldale Cliff Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wooldale Cliff Road, Cliff Road, New Laithe Lane, South Lane, Back Lane, Cliff Lane, Cliffe Street. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday, 23 July 2026 and remain in force until 5 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GRAMFIELD ROAD/DRYCLOUGH ROAD/ TOM LANE/WILLIAM HORSFALL STREET, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Crosland Moor:-
Point Closures

The following roads at their junction with Blackmoorfoot Road:-
Gramfield Road, Dryclough Road, Tom Lane, William Horsfall Street

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected will be available as follows:- 

Gramfield Road/Tom Lane - via the unaffected length of Gramfield Road, Thornleigh Road, Seagrave Road, Tom Road, Frances Avenue and vice versa. 
Dryclough Road - via the unaffected length of

Dryclough Road, Foster Avenue, Balmoral Avenue, Blackmoorfoot Road and vice versa.

William Horsfall Street - via the unaffected length of William Horsfall Street, Dalmeny Avenue, Balmoral Avenue, Blackmoorfoot Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 21 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BOOTH HOUSE LANE/MELLOR LANE/ CARR LANE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Booth House Lane/Mellor Lane/Carr Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with Shaw Lane to the junctions of Mellor Lane and Carr Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Booth House Lane, Shaw Lane, Woodhead Road, Field End Lane, Roods Lane, Flush House Lane, Green Gate Road, Greenfield Road, Black Sike Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 8 July 2026 between 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(DUNFORD ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 3) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dunford Road, Holmfirth from a point outside property No. 49 to its junction with Well Hill Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be via the unaffected length of Dunford Road, Town Gate, Station Road, New Mill Road, Holmfirth Road, Sheffield Road, Bents Road, Flint Street, Penistone Road, Dunford Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6 July 2026 and remain in force until 8 July 2026 between 20:00 hours to 06:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(FAR LANE, HEPWORTH, HOLMFIRTH)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Far Lane, Hepworth from its junction with Main Gate to its junction with Farfield Drive
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Town Gate, Dean Bridge Lane, Dean Lane, White Wells Road, Paris Road, Scholes Moor Road, Little Cake, New Gate, Upper House Road, Cowcliff Hill Road, Far Lane. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6 July 2026 and remain in force until 10 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BIRKBY ROAD, BIRKBY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Birkby Road, Birkby from its junction with Halifax Road, to a point outside property no. 400
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Birkby Road, Halifax Road, Edgerton Road, Blacker Road, Wheathouse Road, Birkby Hall Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6 July 2026 and remain in force until 23 October 2026 between 07:00 hours to 19:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GREENHEAD ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Greenhead Road, Huddersfield from its junction with Trinity Street for approximately 25 metres

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Trinity Street, Park Avenue, Greenhead Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday, 9 July 2026 and remain in force until 7 August 2026 between 19:00 hours to 06:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BLACKLEY NEW ROAD, BIRCHENCLIFFE, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a north westerly direction in that length of Blackley New Road, Birchencliffe from its junction with Ainley Top roundabout to its junction with M62 Westbound slip road entrance (outbound traffic only)
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(HALIFAX ROAD, BIRCHENCLIFFE, HUDDERSFIELD ) 
(TEMPORARY ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to proceed in a southerly direction in that length of Halifax Road, Birchencliffe from its junction with Ainley Top Roundabout to a point outside property no. 200 (inbound traffic)

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Halifax Road, Lindley Moor Road, New Hey Road, Westbourne Road, Trinity Street, New North Road, Edgerton Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6 July 2026 and remain in force until 29 July 2026 between 20:00 hours to 06:00 hours (evening working only) (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(COLD WELL LANE, HOLMBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cold Well Lane, Holmbridge from its junction with Carr Well Lane to a point approximately 60 metres west of Old Thorn House
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 7 July 2026 between 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(OLD ROAD, HOLMBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Old Road, Holmbridge from its junction with Woodhead Road to a point to rear of property no. 125 Woodhead Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Old Road, Co-op Lane, Woodhead Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6 July 2026 and remain in force until 17 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LADYHOUSE LANE, BERRY BROW, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ladyhouse Lane, Berry Brow from a point outside property no. 12 to a point outside property no. 18
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(LAMB HALL ROAD, LONGWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lamb Hall Road, Longwood from a point outside property no. 86 to a point outside property no. 80
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 8 July 2026 and remain in force until 10 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ELLISON STREET, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Ellison Street, Crosland Moor from a point outside property no. 7 to the end of property No. 7
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Ellison Street, Everard Street, Basil Street, De Traford Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday, 10 July 2026 and remain in force until 16 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 20:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
