FRASERBURGH – TEMPORARY TRAFFIC
MANAGEMENT

“The Aberdeenshire Council (Fraserburgh – 06.07.26) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 06.07.26 for 12 days and will introduce the following temporary traffic restrictions in Fraserburgh:

ROAD CLOSURE

Albert Street Lane South, Fraserburgh from Finlayson Street to Albert Street and 55 metres north of the T-junction. An alternative route is available via Albert Street Lane South to Albert Street to Dennyduff Road to Finlayson Street, Fraserburgh and vice versa.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

PROHIBITION OF WAITING

Albert Street Lane South, Fraserburgh on both sides from Finlayson Street to Albert Street and 55 metres north of the T-junction.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during work for an electricity company. Details of the restriction can be viewed online https://online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/apps/roadworks/
