(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street, Pulloxhill between Barton Road and Fieldside Road.
This temporary closure is required to enable column replacement work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 27 to 29 July 2026. Between the hours of 0800 and 1800hrs The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Sand Rd, Flitton Rd, Greenfield Rd and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 27 July 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(HIGH STREET, LIDLINGTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street, Lidlington between Boughton End Lane and Millers Lane.
This temporary closure is required to enable Ground survey installation of passing bays for EWR to facilitate the increase in construction traffic in the area to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 26 July to 7 August 2026 between the hours of 0900 – 1500hrs. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route will be via Church St, Sheep Tick End, Bedford Road, A507 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 26 July 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(CHURCH STREET, SHILLINGTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Church Street, Shillington outside numbers 12, 14 and 16.
This temporary closure is required to enable gully installation work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Green Lane, Stewartby 20 metres either side of the bridge.
This temporary closure is required to enable rerail works, S & T inspection to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 2300hrs on 18 July to 11. Hrs on 19 July 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Green Lane, Broadmead Road and Green Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 18 July 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Lydds Hill, Ridgmont outside number 7.
This temporary closure is required to enable stop tap replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 15 to 17 July. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via High St, Station Rd and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 15 July 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
