TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2169 Bayham Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 5HW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2169 Bayham Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 21st July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite property number 12 Birling Road on B2169 Bayham Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A267 Frant Road, Forest Road, B2169 Bayham Road and vice versa.
Campion Crescent, Hartley, TN17 3QL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow new service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Campion Crescent, Hartley, on or after 20th July 2026 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of A229 Hartley Road, for a distance approximately 50 metres. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Upper Grosvenor Road, Hanover Road & Grosvenor Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1ET (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & NO LEFT TURN) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow gas mains replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of Upper Grosvenor Road, Hanover Road & Grosvenor Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 22nd July 2026 for up to 42 days or until the works have been completed. No left turn will be imposed from Grosvenor Road to Hanover Road. The current left turn from Grosvenor Road to Hanover Road will be suspended for the duration of these works.
Phase 1
Grosvenor Road will be closed Southbound only between the roundabout with A26 Mount Ephraim/St Johns Road and Upper Grosvenor Road.
Upper Grosvenor Road will be closed from the junction of Grosvenor Road to the junction of Grosvenor Walk. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Main diversion route 1 - Grosvenor Road, A26 St Johns Road, Yew Tree Road, High Brooms Road, Highfield Road, High Brooms Road, North Farm Road, Upper Grosvenor Road.
Main diversion route 2 - Upper Grosvenor Road, North Farm Road, High Brooms Road, Yew Tree Road, A26 St Johns Road, Grosvenor Road.
The alternative route for Upper Grosvenor Road is via Upper Grosvenor Road, Grosvenor Bridge, Quarry Road, Camden Road, Victoria Road.
Hanover Road will be closed at the junction with Grosvenor Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. No left turn will be imposed from Grosvenor Road to Hanover Road. The current left turn from Grosvenor Road to Hanover Road will be suspended for the duration of these works.
The alternative routes for Hanover Road are via:
Diversion 1 - Hanover Road, Mount Ephraim Road, Lime Hill Road, A26 London Road, A26 Mount Ephraim and join main diversion.
Diversion 2 - Grosvenor Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A26 London Road, Mount Ephraim Road.

Grosvenor Road will be closed Southbound only between the roundabout with A26 Mount Ephraim/St Johns Road and Upper Grosvenor Road.
Upper Grosvenor Road will be closed from the junction with Grosvenor Road to the junction with Meadow Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Hanover Road will be closed at the junction with Grosvenor Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. No left turn will be imposed from Grosvenor Road to Hanover Road. The current left turn from Grosvenor Road to Hanover Road will be suspended for the duration of these works.

Diversion 1 - Hanover Road, Mount Ephraim Road, Lime Hill Road, A26 London Road, A26 Mount Ephraim and join main diversion.
Diversion 2 - Grosvenor Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A26 London Road, Mount Ephraim Road.
Phase 3
Grosvenor Road will be closed Northbound Only between the junction with Goods Station Road & and the roundabout with A26 Mount Ephraim/St Johns Road. Access will be maintained to Upper Grosvenor Road.

Hanover Road will be closed at the junction with Grosvenor Road.
The alternative routes for Hanover Road are via:

Waterloo Road, Cranbrook, TN17 3JH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Waterloo Road, Cranbrook, on or after 23rd July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Cranbrook School. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
