Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

ASHFORD AREA

D1348 Sole St Junction With D1351 Church Lane To D1349 Sole Street Junction With D1352 Church Lane, Crundale, CT4 7EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of D1348 Sole St Junction With D1351 Church Lane To D1349 Sole Street Junction With D1352 Church Lane, Crundale from 6th July 2026, with estimated completion by 10th July 2026, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Hunters Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via D1348 Sole St Junction With D1351 Church Lane To D1349 Sole Street Junction With D1352 Church Lane, Church Lane From Junction With Sole Street To End, Sole Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Acton Lane, Wittersham, TN30 7JD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Acton Lane, Wittersham from 21st July 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Pound Lane and Ebony Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ebony Road, B2080 Reading Street, Tenterden Road, Ferry Road, Appledore Road, Lower Road, Catts Hill, Wittersham Road, B2082 Stocks Road, Acton Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Boldshaves Lane, Woodchurch.​ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Boldshaves Lane, Woodchurch from 23rd July 2026 with estimated completion by 24th July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Dale Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Boldshaves Lane, Susans Hill, Bethersden Road, Redbrook Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Bull Lane, Bethersden, TN26 3HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Bull Lane, Bethersden from 22nd July 2026, with estimated completion by 23rd July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed opposite The Glebe, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bull Lane, Smarden Road, Bethersden Road, Cage Lane, The Street, Pluckley Road, Chambers Green Road, End Of Pluckley Road At River Beult To Chambers Green Road, Mill Road, Forge Hill, Ashford Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Caesar Avenue, Kingsnorth, TN23 3QY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Caesar Avenue, Kingsnorth from 23rd July 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between numbers 28 and 29, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Caesar Avenue, Lucilla Avenue and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Canterbury Road, Brabourne, TN25 6QT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Canterbury Road, Brabourne from 20th July 2026 with estimated completion by 21st July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Chapel Farm and Hope Cottages, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plain Road, Stone Hill, Southenay Lane, Main Road, Swan Lane, Swan Lane Service Road, Blind House Lane, Stone Street, Pilgrims Way, Whiteways, Curteis Lane, Scots Lane, The Street, Canterbury Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Chapel Lane, Egerton, TN27 9EL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Chapel Lane, Egerton from 7th July 2026, with estimated completion by 10th July 2026, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Mount Zion Free Church, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Forstal Road, Crocken Hill Road and Chapel Lane.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Charminster, Kingsnorth, TN23 5UD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow new service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Charminster, Kingsnorth from 20th July 2026, with estimated completion by 25th July 2026, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 2, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Egerton Road, Charing, TN27 0BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Egerton Road, Charing from 20th July 2026 with estimated completion by 21st July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 65m north east of the junction with Southfield Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Egerton Road, Charing Heath Road, Pluckley Road, Charing Road, New Road, The Street, Stonebridge Green Road, Field Mill Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

High Halden Road, Biddenden.​ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of High Halden Road, Biddenden from 24th July 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 55m north of the entrance to The Pinnocks, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Halden Road From Pb To Pb, Pot Kiln Lane, Bull Lane, A28 Ashford Road, A262 Biddenden Road, High Halden Lane, Tenterden Road, High Halden Road, Wagstaff Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Mockbeggar Lane, Biddenden.​ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Mockbeggar Lane, Biddenden from 20th July 2026 with estimated completion by 21st July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 15m north of Mockbeggar property boundary, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mockbeggar Lane, Cranbrook Road, Benenden Road, Goddards Green Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Mulberry Hill, Chilham, CT4 8AJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Mulberry Hill, Chilham from 22nd July 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 2, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mulberry Hill, Cobbs Hill, Long Hill, New Cut Road, Maidstone Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Plurenden Road, Woodchurch, TN26 3JW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Plurenden Road, Woodchurch from 22nd July 2026 with estimated completion by 23rd July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed opposite Plurenden Manor, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plurenden Road, Woodchurch Road, Church Hill, A28 Ashford Road, Bethersden Road and vice versa.

Rock Hill Road, Egerton, TN27 9DY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow gas supply works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Rock Hill Road, Egerton from 20th July 2026, with estimated completion by 24th July 2026, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Homier, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Rock Hill Road, New Road, Egerton Road, Forge Hill, Smarden Road, The Pinnock, C86 Mundy Bois Road Junction With C146 Pinnock Road To Junction With Green Hill Lane, Mundy Bois Road and vice versa.

Shadoxhurst Road, Woodchurch, TN26 3PP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Shadoxhurst Road, Woodchurch from 23rd July 2026, with estimated completion by 24th July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 145m north of the track leading to Forkeeps, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Woodchurch Road, Tally Ho Road, Magpie Hall Road, Ashford Road, Park Farm Estate Roundabout, Romney Marsh Road, Romney Marsh Road Roundabout, Norman Road, Beaver Road, Beaver Lane, Brookfield Road, A28 Great Chart Bypass, From Junction With Chilmington Green Road To Junction With A28 Ashford Road, Bethersden Road, Shadoxhurst Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Spot House Lane, Woodchurch, TN26 3PL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Spot House Lane, Woodchurch from 23rd July 2026 with estimated completion by 24th July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 50m north of the entrance to Beacon Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Spot House Lane, Woodchurch Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Townland Close, Biddenden, TN27 8AR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow new sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Townland Close, Biddenden from 20th July 2026 with estimated completion by 28th July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from number 11 to the end of the road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Waltham Road, Hastingleigh, TN25 5JD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Waltham Road, Hastingleigh from 8th July 2026, with estimated completion by 10th July 2026, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Hassel Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ashenfield Road, Woods Hill, Richdore Road, Kake Street, Anvil Green Road, Waltham Road, Broadway, The Street, Town Road, B2067 Stone Street, Thorn Lane, Dean Hill, Dean Bottom, Spong Lane, From Dean Bottom To Holt Farm, From Dean Bottom To District Boundary, Evington Road From Junction With The Street To Boundary Line and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Wind Hill Lane, Charing, TN27 0BE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Wind Hill Lane, Charing from 6th July 2026, with estimated completion by 15th July 2026, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Cherry Tree Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cherry Tree Road, Wind Hill Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Wissenden Lane, Bethersden.​ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2026

To allow water pipe repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Wissenden Lane, Bethersden from 6th July 2026, with estimated completion by 8th July 2026, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Wissenden House Oast, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Wissenden Lane, Church Hill, St Margarets Place, The Street, Mill Road, Pluckley Road, End Of Pluckley Road At River Beult To Chambers Green Road, Station Approach, Chambers Green Road, Smarden Road, Romden Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
