Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.

The General Effects of the Orders would be:

(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.10 Bourn Avenue N15, No.75 Hewitt Avenue N22, No.28 Lansdowne Road N10, No.8/9 Stockton Gardens N17 (nose-in bay, with a width of 3.6 metres, 16 metres of adjacent double yellow lines to be installed from outside No.4-7), No.8 Gaskell Road N6, No.162 The Avenue N17, No.119 Rosebery Gardens N4, No.33 Pelham Road N22, No.153 Crescent Road N22, No.36 Westerfield Road N15, No.211 Gladstone Avenue N22, adjacent to the flank wall of No.235 Lymington Avenue on Mark Road N22, No.89 Morley Avenue N22, adjacent to No.173 Rislip Avenue on Aveland Avenue N17, No.29 Park Road N11, No.82 Rathcoole Gardens N8, No.108 Nightingale Road N22, No.60 Muswell Avenue N10, in the northern end of the parking layby outside Beeley House on Mary Neuner Road N8, No.82 Clonmell Road N17, opposite the flank wall of No.1 Fairbanks Road on Chesnut Road N17, No.108/110 Nightingale Road N22 (adjacent double yellow lines to be extended by approximately 4 metres), No.89 Steed Road N10.

(ii) To convert existing Disabled Bays to Dedicated Disabled parking bays, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey: No.6 Heybourne Road N17, No.30 Womersley Road N8, No.26 Barrenger Road N10, No.55 Lascotts Road N22, No.16 Winchelsea Road N17 (to be extended to a length of 10 metres), No.12 Grove Road N15 (to be extended northwards to a length of 6.6 metres), No.97-101 Birkbeck Road N8 (to be extended south to a length of 6.6 metres), adjacent to the flank wall of No.138 Wightman Road on Warham Road N4 (bay closest to junction).

(iii) To remove Disabled Parking Bays outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; opposite No.105/107 Birkbeck Road N8 (reinstate permit parking), outside No.80/82 Cromwell Avenue N6 to be relocated approximately 4 metres southwards to outside No.82.

(iv) To relocate existing Disabled Parking Bays operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties: Outside No.80/82 Cromwell Avenue N6 (to be relocated approximately 4 metres southwards), outside No.54 Gospatrick Road (to be relocated approximately 4 metres eastward, adjacent double yellow lines to be extended and adjacent permit holders only parking to be shortened).

The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. The other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.

(v) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section (i) of this notice.

(vi) To make map-based changes on the following roads to ensure the Council’s internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):

  1. To extend the double yellow lines adjacent to the flank wall of No.235 Lymington Avenue on Mark Road N22 by approximately 3.6 metres.

  2. To formalise the double yellow lines outside No.54 Gospatrick Road to the junction with The Roundway.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
