What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 29/06/2026, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Wellbraehead, Forfar) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to relieve congestion and maintain the free flow of traffic. The Order will come into force on Monday, 06 July 2026, from which date it is anticipated that the restrictions will continue for 18 months, the maximum duration permitted by the act. The Order prohibits all vehicular traffic from waiting and loading on each and every Wednesday between the hours of 9am and 1pm in or on the north side of Wellbraehead, Forfar from a point 30 metres or thereby west of its junction with North Street (B9128) in a westerly direction for a distance of 22 metres or thereby.
