(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close West Parade. The Order will also introduce a prohibition of waiting at any time on the closed sections of West Parade suspending the residents parking bays.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst highway improvement works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 20 July 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will commence on or after 20 July 2026 and will take until 11 September 2026 to complete. North Parade to No, 1 West Parade will be closed for the entire duration of the works. Additional sections of
West Parade will be closed in phases, Phase 2 between Trafalgar Road and Newlands Road and then Phase 3 between Newlands Road and North Parade.

(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, WSCC proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a prohibition of waiting between 0700hrs and 1700hrs daily on the north side of Greenway 43M east and 43M west of the construction access to the Greenway Junior School site.
Parking and waiting is prohibited in this location to allow unimpeded access for construction vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 20 July 2026. It is anticipated the restriction will remain in place for 18 months. (Itchingfield: Public Footpath No. 1628_1)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit persons from proceeding along a length of Public Footpath No 1628_1 from its junction with Public Bridleway No. 1630 (514318.080, 130315.529) south-eastwards to its junction with the Downs Link (51805.760, 129338.001), a distance of 1190M.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety due to a broken bridge.
Unfortunately there is no alternative route available using the Public Rights of Way network.
The Order will come into effect on 2 July 2026 and will last for 6 months or until the Footpath is safe to reopen whichever is sooner.

Various Roads Bsip Amendment) Order 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, WSCC, propose to make a permanent Order the effect of which will be to:-
(i) extend the length of prohibition of waiting at any time
(double yellow lines) on both sides of Old Guildford Road, Broadbridge Heath south-eastwards by 55M to the access to the Shell Garage; and
(ii) remove a 6M length of residents parking bays on the north-east side of Hurst Road, Horsham and replace it with a length of double yellow lines; and
(iii) extend the length of double yellow lines on the north side of Crawley Road, North Horsham westwards by 8.5M.
