NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Morgan Way, Peasedown St John, Bath from a point outside 18 Morgan Way extending south to a point outside 20 Morgan Way. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out Section 81 works to replace a manhole cover/frame in the carriageway from the 6th July 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 - 15:00hrs.

A no right-hand turn restriction shall be introduced in that length of Sydney Road, Bathwick, Bath, as detailed in Schedule 2 below. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out various highway improvement works from the 20th July 2026, for a maximum period of 18 Months.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
