What is happening?

Salford City Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the titles and effects of which are as follows: CITY OF SALFORD (ALLISON GROVE, LILY STREET AND HARDY STREET, BARTON AND WINTON) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:

Allison Grove, (i) west side, from the northern extended kerbline of Lily Street for 18m in a northerly direction, (ii) east side, from the northern extended kerbline of Lily Street for 10m in a northerly direction. Lily Street, (i) north side, from the eastern extended kerbline of Allison Grove for 10m in an easterly direction, (ii) south side, from the eastern extended kerbline of Hardy Street for 5m in an easterly direction. Hardy Street, east side, from the southern extended kerbline of Lily Street for 5m in a southerly direction. 

CITY OF SALFORD (NEW LANE AREA, BARTON AND WINTON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2026 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE: New Lane, from its junction with Worsley Road to a point 37m north from the northern extended kerbline of Liverpool Road. Midford Avenue, for its entire length. Brushford Close, for its entire length. Bridgewater Street, for its entire length. Nameplate Close, for its entire length. Langholme Place, for its entire length. South King Street, for its entire length. Egerton Street, for its entire length. Athol Street, for its entire length. Florence Street, for its entire length. Winifred Street, for its entire length. Madeira Place, for its entire length. Cook Street, for its entire length. Millers Street, for its entire length. Lavinia Street, for its entire length. Sarah Street, for its entire length. Guilford Road, for its entire length. Clandon Avenue, for its entire length. Finstock Close, for its entire length. Isobel Close, for its entire length. Lily Street, for its entire length. Allison Grove, for its entire length. Hatherop Close, for its entire length. Hardy Street, for its entire length. Henty Close, for its entire length. Joseph Street, for its entire length. An existing Order shall be revoked as part of these proposals.
