NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 119
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH EU1 (PART) AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH EU7 (PART)
IN THE PARISH OF FLORE) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026

The above order, made on 16th June 2026 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert Footpath EU1 from point A (NGR SP6275 6077) south-east for 855 metres to point B (NGR SP6344 6028). And a further section of Footpath EU1 from point G (NGR SP6347 6026) generally east for 249 metres to point H (NGR SP6372 6029). Also a section of Footpath EU7 from point J (NGR SP6522 6038) generally east for 293 metres to point L (NGR SP6549 6033). As shown as solid black lines between A-B and G-H on Order Map 1 and J-L on Order Map 2. And provide a new section of Footpath EU1 from point A generally south-east for 1180 metres to point B. And also a new section of Footpath EU1 from point G running east for 250 metres to point H. And also a new section of Footpath EU7 from point J south-east for 324 metres to point L. The new sections of footpaths will have a width of 1.8 metres and are shown by broken black lines between A-B and G-H on Order Map 1 and J-L on Order Map 2.

Alternatively a copy of the order and order map may be seen free of charge at The One Stop Shop, West Northamptonshire Councill, One Angel Square, Angel Street, Northampton, NN1 1ED from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday inclusive. Any representation about or objection to the order may be delivered in writing to the Definitive Map Team at West Northamptonshire Council, One Angel Square, Angel Street, Northampton, NN1 1ED or by email to defmap.ncc@westnorthants.gov.uk not later than 30th July 2026 quoting reference SLC/227 in either case. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, West Northamptonshire Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
