Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Barrington Main - from the junction with Old A303 north-westwards for a total distance of 67 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement works.
The Order becomes effective on 15th July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd July 2026 and last until 23rd July 2026 between the hours of 19:00 - 06:00 for a total of 1 night.
