Rhoddir HYSBYSIAD drwy hyn bod Cyngor Sir Penfro wedi gwneud gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.
Mae’r gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn gallu cynnal gwaith adeiladu ar bont dros Heol Cartlett.
Effaith y gorchymyn fydd gwahardd yr holl draffig cerbydol dros dro, heblaw am gerbydau esempt, rhag mynd ar hyd y rhan honno o Heol Cartlett, Hwlffordd – o’i chyffordd â Maes Picton / Maes Victoria, tua’r gorllewin o’i chyffordd â Sgwâr Pen-y-bont.
Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, a fydd yn cael eu dangos gan arwyddion ffyrdd, yn dod i rym ddydd Llun, 6 Gorffennaf 2026 am oddeutu pedair wythnos rhwng 7.30pm a 6am.
Y llwybr amgen i draffig fydd trwy gylchfan Sgwâr Salutation yr A40 i gylchfan Llwynhelyg trwy gylchfan Scotchwell a chylchfan Aberteifi, cefnffordd yr A40(T) Heol Abergwaun a Sydney Rees Way.
Bydd y gorchymyn yn parhau i fod yn ddilys am 18 mis ar y mwyaf fel cynllun wrth gefn pe bai angen aildrefnu’r gwaith, neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.

THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (CARTLETT ROAD, HAVERFORDWEST) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order is necessary so that construction works on Cartlett Road overbridge can be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of Cartlett Road, Haverfordwest – from its junction with Picton Place / Victoria Place, north to its junction with Bridgend Square Roundabout.
It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 6th July 2026 for approximately 4 weeks between 19:30hrs-06:00hrs.
The alternative route for traffic will be via A40 Salutation Square Roundabout to Withybush Roundabout via Scotchwell Roundabout and Cardigan Roundabout, A40(T) Fishguard Road and Sydney Rees Way.
The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
