(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (North Street, Eyemouth) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of  18 months, will come into force on 10 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along North Street, Eyemouth.

(VARIOUS ROADS, GREENLAW)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) NO 2 ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Various Roads, Greenlaw) (Temporary No Waiting) No 2 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 10 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 19 July 2026, on the dates and at the times detailed below. The Order is required for the safe passage of abnormal load. When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides  of the following roads:

From 00:01 on 10 July 2026 to 23:59 on 11 July 2026; and from 00:01 on 18 July 2026 to 23:59 on 19 July 2026 –  24 hour restriction:

(i)  A697 West High Street, Greenlaw – from its junction with Wester Row to The Square; (ii)  A697 The Square, Greenlaw – from its junction with the A6105 to East High Street; and (iii)  A697 East High Street, Greenlaw - from The Square to the junction with Marchmont Road.
