TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HODDESDON 059
NOTICE is given that Broxbourne Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using the entire length of Hoddesdon Footpath 059, running from its junction with Rattys Lane to Dobbs Weir Road for an approximate distance of 1340 metres.
The alternative route for pedestrians for Footpath Hoddesdon Footpath 059 will be via - Ratty's Lane (Southwestwards), Essex Road (South-Eastwards) into Dobbs Weir Road.
The purpose of the Order is to enable National Grid to carry out Overhead Cable works at the location. Footpath Hoddesdon 059 will be closed on or after 12 July 2026 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.
Works are expected to take 4 weeks to complete.
