What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
SALFORD CITY COUNCIL
(FERNLEA CRESCENT) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Fernlea Crescent, at the junction of Partington Lane, Swinton, M27 5YW.
The Order is necessary for pedestrian crossing construction works on behalf of Salford City Council.
The order is due to come into operation on the 23rd July 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by 2nd September 2026. The diversion route will be via Westbrook Road. A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be requested by contacting Salford City Council Street Works team via the email street. works@salford.gov.uk or the postal address below:
