Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych, ddim cynt na 7 diwrnod o 1 Gorffennaf 2026, yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y rhan honno o Mostyn Avenue, Prestatyn, yn Sir Ddinbych, sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd gyda Plas Avenue i’w chyffordd gyda Ffordd Llys Nant.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn i Wales and West Utilities wneud y brif bibell gyflenwad nwy. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion yn dangos y llwybr amgen ar hyd Ffordd Llys Nant a Gronant Road yn y lleoliad.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 21 Gorffennaf 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 7 Awst 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC

ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

MOSTYN AVENUE, PRESTATYN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION

OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

- SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 1st July 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of Mostyn Avenue Prestatyn in the County of Denbigh which extends from its junction with Plas Avenue to its junction with Nant Hall Road.

The closure is necessary to facilitate gas mains replacement by Wales and West Utilities. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative route will be via Nant Hall Road and Gronant Road as signposted on site.

The Order is effective from 21st July 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 7th August 2026.
