Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddim cynt na 7 diwrnod o 1 Gorffennaf 2026 a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhanau o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae angen cau’r ffyrdd er mwyn hwyluso’r gwaith o roi wyneb newydd, a wneir gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion ar y safle i ddynodi’r llwybrau amgen.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 19 Gorffennaf 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tua tua 26 Gorffennaf 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

VARIOUS ROADS BETWS GWERFIL GOCH

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 1st July 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of road in the Schedule below.

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative routes will be as signposted on site.

The Order is effective from 19th July 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 26th July 2026.

Schedule

Lengths of roads at Betws Gwerfil Goch in the County of Denbigh

A. Class III road known as Minffordd junction to Tyddyn Bach for its entire length.

Tyddyn Bach to Betws Gwerfil Goch village, for its entire length.

B. Class III road known as Betws Gwerfil Goch village to Ty Cerrig junction which extends from its junction with Tyddyn Bach to Betws GG village.
