THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COXBENCH ROAD, COXBENCH) (ONE WAY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that, on Thursday the 25th June 2026 Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on Monday the 6th July 2026 and its effect is:
TO ALLOW ONE WAY DIRECTION OF TRAVEL FOR VEHICLES - ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTH OF ROAD:
Coxbench Road, Coxbench
The southern arm of the junction of Coxbench Road and Alfreton Road, from a point 47 metres north-east of its junction with Alfreton Road in a south-westerly direction to its junction with the Alfreton Road.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, are revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, during opening hours and on request by emailing

quoting reference Z3447, until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 6th August 2026. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 25th June 2026 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
