Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 2nd July 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SUNRIDGE CLOSE, NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2401)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Sunridge Close, Newport Pagnell – from number 17 to number 46.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 13th to 16th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHAPLIN GROVE, CROWNHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2405)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Chaplin Grove, Crownhill – from number 54 to number 59.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 13th to 16th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NEW ROAD, CASTLETHORPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2411)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
New Road, Castlethorpe – its entire length.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 13th to 17th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VYNE CRESCENT, GREAT HOLM) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2413)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Vyne Crescent, Great Holm – outside numbers 39 and 40
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 14th to 16th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DENBIGH ROAD (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2433)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst National Grid undertake trenching works:
Denbigh Road, Bletchley – from its junction with Lyon Road to Sinclair Court.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Granby Roundabout and Watling Street (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 14th to 17th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 2nd July 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (A509 (PART), OLNEY) (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2409)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along A509, Olney (from a point 75 metres south-west of its junction with Lime Street, Olney, continuing for a distance of 450 metres in a south-westerly direction) at a speed in excess of 30mph, whilst the Olney Riverfest Event takes place, because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
The temporary 30mph speed restriction will be in effect from 11.30am to 2.30pm on Sunday 5th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ST DUNSTANS (PART), COFFEE HALL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2391)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along St Dunstans, Coffee Hall from Lloyds to Hamlins, to enable Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway.
The road closure will be in effect from 6th to 8th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Lloyds, Rochfords and Chapter (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LAMBOURN COURT (PART), EMERSON VALLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2408)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Lambourn Court, Emerson Valley from number 2 to number 6, to enable Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway.
The road closure will be in effect from 6th to 9th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (TAVELHURST, TWO MILE ASH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2406)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Tavelhurst, Two Mile Ash from number 10 to number 14, to enable Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway.
The road closure will be in effect from 7th to 10th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CARLINA PLACE (PART), CONNIBURROW) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2427)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Carlina Place, Conniburrow from Conniburrow Boulevard to outside numbers 11 and 12, to enable Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway.
The road closure will be in effect from 7th to 9th July 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Conniburrow Boulevard, Cranesbill Place or Coltsfoot Place and Cleavers Avenue (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CROWNHILL ROUNDABOUT, CROWNHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2435)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Dansteed Way (westbound from Kensington Drive to Watling Street) and the east side entrance of Crownhill Roundabout from Dansteed Way and the southbound exit to Watling Street, to enable Hutchinson 3G to undertake maintenance works to telecoms equipment.
The road closure will be in effect from 9th to 11th July 2026 (between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm each day) and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Grafton Street, Portway and Watling Street (and vice versa).

Public Notices for Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 2nd July 2026:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LOWER TWELFTH STREET, CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING EXCEPT TAXIS) ORDER 2026 (Reference: TRO-477)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 12th May 2026 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2) and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The general effect of the made Order will be to introduce a prohibition of stopping except taxis restriction (Taxi Rank) along part of Lower Twelfth Street in Central Milton Keynes.
The made Order will take effect on 3rd July 2026.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NORTH CRAWLEY ROAD, NEWPORT PAGNELL) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 (Reference: TRO-473)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) along parts of North Crawley Road in Newport Pagnell.
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the seven Traffic Regulation Orders as titled in the Schedule below.
The general effect of the proposed Order will be to revoke the 1-hour limited waiting restriction on Cambridge Street and Stratford Road in Wolverton.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and 63 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following three Traffic Regulation Orders:
1) Milton Keynes City Council (The Council of the Borough of Milton Keynes) (Central Milton Keynes (On-Street Premium Tariff Parking Places) Order 2020) Variation Order 2026
2) Milton Keynes City Council (The Council of the Borough of Milton Keynes) (Central Milton Keynes (On-Street Specific and Permit Parking Places) Order 2002) Variation Order 2026
