SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (ROCKINGHAM LANE, SHEFFIELD)
(PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 2 July 2026 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders that come into operation on 6 July 2026 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce:
No waiting at any time on parts of Division Lane, Rockingham Street, Rockingham Lane and West Street
No loading at any time on parts of Division Lane, Rockingham Lane and Rockingham Street
Loading places 05:00 to 20:30 on parts of Rockingham Street and West Street
Loading place 00:00 to 10:00 on parts of Leopold Street
Disabled persons’ badge holders parking place 10:00 to 00:00 max stay 4 hours no return for 2 hours on parts of Leopold Street
Disabled persons’ badge holders parking place 08:00 to 20:30 on parts of Rockingham Street
Paid-for parking places 08:00 to 20:30 on parts of Rockingham Street and West Street
Taxis stopping areas 20:30 to 08:00 on parts of West Street
Taxis stopping areas 20:30 to 05:00 on parts of Rockingham Street and West Street
Prohibition of Vehicles on part of Rockingham Lane
And remove:
No waiting at any time on parts of Leopold Street and West Street
No Waiting 08:00 to 20:30pm on parts of Division Lane, Rockingham Lane and Rockingham Street
No loading at any time on parts of West Street
No Loading Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 09:30 and 16:30 to 18:30 on parts of Leopold Street
Taxi stopping area 18:30 to 06:00 on part of West Street

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 6 July 2026 to make application for that purpose to the High Court.
